Down on the main square of Kyiv the New Year's tree has been put up. This is obviously without the lights. I'm not sure when the tree lighting ceremony will be. Probably sometime this weekend or next week. I'm not quite sure what to say about this tree. I am glad it's not purple like last year with advertisements hanging all over it.

Pre Lights Xmas Tree
Down on the main square of Kyiv the New Year's tree has been put up. This is obviously without the lights. I'm not sure when the tree lighting ceremony will be. I don't like that tree very much :/
I've got to get down there and get a photo of it lit up. It's supposed to be a "green" tree. 50 tons of plastic/metal.
Its like a cone rather than a tree LOL.

It is a cone. It's "super cone" It can be a Xmas tree, a spot light, a lighthouse or an UFO. More photos coming eventually when I have time to get downtown! (Merry Christmas to you too!) :)
